Foam Rolling the Glutes

Foam roller exercises are an easy way to help limit and decrease tissue tightness and tissue restrictions.  The glutes and muscles of the posterior and lateral hip are some of the most important for stability and strength output. Deficits in the glutes and posterior hips lead to poor performance and other problems such as knee pain and low back pain. The glutes are also important for squatting, walking, running,  jumping, agility, and many other common functional performance activities.
