Foam Rolling the Calves

Foam roller exercises are an easy way to help limit and decrease tissue tightness and tissue restrictions.  Keeping the calves healthy and mobile are important for maintaining functional health and improving performance. The performance of the calves can affect injury to the foot, ankle, knee, and hip among others.  The calves are also important for squatting, walking, running,  jumping, agility, and many other common functional performance activities.
